Projectmanager PMO Divestment (m/f/d) 


Job Description

  • Leading, developing and implementing divestment strategies that align with KM's objectives incl. overseeing E2E divestment processes

  • Coordinating with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, HR) and external advisors to ensure effective communication and alignment among all stakeholders involved in divestment projects

  • Overseeing due diligence processes, leading negotiations, and executing transactions while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements

  • Leading change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for affected teams and processes

  • Monitoring the financial aspects of divestment projects, including budgeting and forecasting, and providing regular updates and detailed reports to the PMO and management

  • Building and maintaining relationships with potential buyers, investors, and industry partners

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in project management, preferably in a PMO or similar function, ideally within mechanical engineering or a related industry, ideally not limited to KM working experience

  • Proven track record in leading divestment or M&A projects, successfully managing the entire process from strategy development to deal closure

  • Strong financial reporting and data analysis skills, with the ability to understand root causes versus P&L impact on a driver level

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • Deep understanding of divestment processes, M&A, and corporate finance, with experience in guiding complex transactions and leading change management projects

  • High level of initiative, responsibility, and excellent communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and effectively manage stakeholder relationships

  • High acceptance level across stakeholders within KM organisation, beyond the current function, ideally demonstrated by successful previous implementations

  • Mature personality balancing the need for change with the readiness to support KM colleagues operatively in achieving targeted results within critical constraints
