Thesis Inline Material Characterization and Process Control in Injection Molding (m/f/d)
Job Description
- Design and development of an inline material characterization system using various sensors
- Conduct literature research on sensor systems and polymer material characterization
- Plan and execute experiments, collect data, and perform data analysis using evaluation tools
- Document findings and results in a structured and professional manner
Job Requirements
- Ongoing studies in polymer technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Sound knowledge of sensor technology, polymer material behavior, and injection molding processes
- Hands-on experience in data analysis and programming (e.g., Python) is advantageous
- Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus
- Fluent in English and German, with a willingness to write the thesis in English
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for implementing innovative ideas
- Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
